Directions

Step 1

- Surround each prune with half a slice of smoked bacon. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Thread the meat onto skewers, alternating with the prunes and quartered onions.

Step 2

- Grill the skewers for 10 minutes in a frying pan with oil over medium, keep warm.

Step 3

- Discard the fat. Deglaze the pan with the vinegar. Add honey, ginger and ketchup. Serve the skewers with the sauce and fried apples.
